Description |
Henry L. Smith and Katie Burkholder Smith. The Smiths were sent to India in 1913, along with M. Effie Rohrer, as the first missionaries under the Brethren in Christ Church. Their wedding photograph was taken in 1911. Henry Smith died in India of confluent small pox on April 24,1924. Katie Smith with her children , Leoda and Joseph, continued in the work until 1928. Both children became missionaries to India. |
