M. Effie Rohrer. Sr. Effie Rohrer accompanied the first missionary couple, Henry L. and Katie Burkholder Smith, to India as the first missionaries under the Foreign Mission Board of the Brethren in Christ Church. She went to India from the Highland congregation, Miami District, Ohio and served in India from 1913-1939 and 1945-1952. |
