H. Frances Davidson was one of a party of five who were the first foreign missionaries to be sent under the Brethren in Christ Church. They arrived in the Matopo Hills, Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) on July 8, 1898 to establish Matoppo (Matopo) Mission.
Sr. Davidson and Sr. Adda Engle (Taylor) pioneered the work in Northern Rhodesia (Zambia) in 1906 and established Macha Mission.
She returned to America in 1923 and taught at Messiah Bible College until 1931 when her health failed. She died December 11, 1935.
